SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) — Jordan Gregory scored 18 points, all on 3-pointers, and Montana clinched a berth in the Big Sky tournament with a 70-55 victory over Sacramento State on Thursday night.

Kareem Jamar and Keron DeShields added 10 points apiece for the Grizzlies (17-11, 12-7), who shot 54.3 percent, including 40 percent from 3-point range on an 8-of-20 effort.

The Grizzlies were down 12-11 early before outscoring the Hornets 32-12 to take a 43-24 lead at the half. Montana took advantage of 11 Sacramento State turnovers in the half, scoring 18 points off the miscues.

The Hornets (13-15, 9-10) got within nine points once in the second half with 9:15 left in the game before the Grizzlies extended the lead back to 16 and cruised to the victory.

Dylan Garrity scored 18 points and Mikh McKinney added 10 for Sacramento State, which saw a seven-game home winning streak come to an end.
