LAS VEGAS (AP) — UNLV leading scorer Bryce Dejean-Jones will not play in the Rebels' regular-season finale at Nevada on Saturday.

Coach Dave Rice said in a statement Thursday that the junior guard was being suspended through the weekend for conduct detrimental to the team.

In addition to sitting out the Nevada game, the 21-year-old would not practice with the team on Thursday or Friday.

Dejean-Jones has started 26 games and is averaging 13.4 points per game.

UNLV (19-11, 10-7 Mountain West) hosts the conference tournament next week.
