THE EQUATOR TO 32N...EAST OF 140W. THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION IS

BASED ON SATELLITE IMAGERY...WEATHER OBSERVATIONS...RADAR...AND

METEOROLOGICAL ANALYSIS.

BASED ON 0600 UTC SURFACE ANALYSIS AND SATELLITE IMAGERY THROUGH

0900 UTC.

GULF OF TEHUANTEPEC GALE WARNING...FRESH TO STRONG N WINDS WILL

FUNNEL THROUGH THE CHIVELA PASS INTO TEHUANTEPEC THU EVENING.

WINDS WILL BRIEFLY INCREASE TO MINIMAL GALE FORCE AROUND 03-06

UTC FRI...AND CONTINUE FOR ABOUT 6 HOURS THROUGH 09-12 UTC. SEAS

WILL RAPIDLY BUILD TO 11 FT DURING BRIEF PERIOD OF GALES. WINDS

AND SEAS ARE EXPECTED RAPIDLY DIMINISH AFTER SUNRISE FRI.

THE ITCZ EXTENDS FROM 05N88W TO 03N110W TO 03N126W TO 06N140W.

30N IN NW PORTION. ALTIMETER DATA SHOWS SEAS AROUND 14 FT NEAR

30N140W. CONVEYER BELT OF WAVE AFTER WAVE OF LARGE NW SWELL

REACHING NW PORTION THEN DECAYING AS IT MOVES SE TO NEAR 110W

APPEARS LIKE TO CONTINUE ANOTHER DAY OR TWO.

10242 MB HIGH PRESSURE CENTERED NEAR 25N130W WITH SURFACE RIDGE

EXTENDING SOUTHWARD TO AROUND 14N. PRESSURE GRADIENT BETWEEN THE

HIGH AND LOWER PRESSURE ASSOCIATED WITH THE CONVERGENCE ZONE

SUPPORTING MODERATE TO FRESH TRADE WINDS N OF THE ITCZ TO 10N.

THE PRESSURE GRADIENT WILL INCREASE NEAR THE NORTHERN BAJA

CALIFORNIA PENINSULA FRI EVENING AS LOW PRESSURE AREA DIVES

SOUTHWARD FROM SOUTHWEST U.S. AND FRESHEN NW-N WINDS N OF 28N E

OF 122W. GENTLE TO MODERATE WIND AND SEA CONDITIONS WILL PREVAIL
