MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. (AP) — Lucky Jones scored 19 points and Anthony Myers-Pate added 10 as regular-season champion and top seed Robert Morris defeated eighth-seeded Fairleigh Dickinson 60-53 Wednesday night in the first round of the Northeast Conference tournament.

The Colonials (20-12) will be home again for a semifinal matchup against No. 6 seed St. Francis (Pa.) on Saturday.

Robert Morris prevailed despite a scoreless night from conference player of the year Karvel Anderson, who came into the game averaging 19.6 points per game. He sat out the final 8:37 with the Colonials leading 43-37. The Knights (10-21) didn't get any closer, and trailed by 10 with a minute to go.

Sidney Sanders Jr. scored 16 points with Scooter Gillette adding 15 and Mathias Seilund 12 points and 10 rebounds for the Knights, who have lost 13 straight to Robert Morris. The Knights shot 36.4 percent and were just 3 of 17 from 3-point range (17.6 percent).
