China sets 7.5 percent growth target

BEIJING (AP) — China's premier has announced a 7.5 percent official economic growth target for this year.

Wednesday's announcement by Li Keqiang is in line government plans to guide the world's second-largest economy to lower, more sustainable growth.

The official growth target is the same original target for last year, although real economic growth for 2013 came in at 7.7 percent, a two-decade low.
