(KSL News) A van crash in Farmington put two teenagers in the hospital.

Farmington police say the driver hit the gas, trying to make it through the intersection of 1800 South and Main Street before the light turned red.

Another car broadsided the van, causing it to roll. Six people were inside the van. Only the driver was buckled in.

Dale Scow/Farmington Police Dept.: "People need to start wearing their seat belts. You know the kids in the van probably wouldn't have been injured had they been wearing their seat belts. There probably would've been no injuries at all to people inside the van."

Two teens received minor injuries. Police say the driver of the van will be cited.
