Optimal Workshop Completes Integration of UX Punk

WELLINGTON, New Zealand, Feb. 28, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- World leading

Software-as-a-Service web development tools provider Optimal Workshop

(Optimal Product Ltd) is integrating the UX Punk services previously

acquired from Chicago-based Lime & Chili LLC into its business and is

retiring UX Punk services. All UX Punk customers have been notified

and are being transitioned to Optimal Workshop services effective

March 3, 2014.

Optimal Workshop provides advanced tools for website owners that help

them make their sites easier to use and more effective. UX Punk tools

had significant overlap and continued to run in parallel under the

Optimal umbrella. However, the technology underlying UX Punk services,

which dated from 2002, including the use of Flash, was becoming dated

and harder to maintain.

Optimal Workshop CEO Andrew Mayfield says; "Optimal Workshop's

customer base has been growing rapidly. Bringing all our UX Punk

customers onto the Optimal Workshop services allows us to focus future

development on one cohesive codebase and deliver new features quicker

for both sets of customers. I'm excited about the focus we have within

our team, the benefits for Optimal and UX Punk customers, and the

opportunities for Optimal Workshop globally."

As part of the transition all Optimal Workshop users will now benefit

from an additional 'per survey' pricing model previously available on

UX Punk services. Any features previously unique to UX Punk are now

available in Optimal Workshop tools.

More information can found on the Optimal Workshop blog.
