FORT WORTH, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb 26, 2014--Dallas-based PlainsCapital Bank today announced that Steve Hambrick has been promoted to Texas region chairman. In his new role, Hambrick is responsible for management, business development and recruitment for PlainsCapital Bank’s Texas markets.

Hambrick joined PlainsCapital Bank in November 2004 serving as Fort Worth president. In January 2012, he was promoted to Fort Worth region chairman. With more than 30 years of experience in the finance and banking industries, his expertise includes commercial banking and loan workouts.

He is also a member of the Tarrant County Bankers Association and OU Club of Fort Worth.
