SUMMIT COUNTY — Four men were arrested on suspicion of burglary after a homeowner caught them on his surveillance system, according to the Summit County Sheriff's Department.
The man woke up to a noise in his driveway and saw two men dressed in black inside of his car, said Capt. Justin Martinez. The burglary occurred at 1:45 a.m. Thursday morning in the Jeremy Ranch neighborhood.
After the homeowner called 9-1-1, Martinez said deputies on containment were able to catch the alleged burglars. David Gonzalez, 23, Frankye Aguilar, 21, Anthony Guitierez, 19, and Joaquin Verduzco-Castro, 20, were arrested on suspicion of burglary and theft of property.
He said the high-definition home surveillance video helped break the case.

"From that they were actually able to extrapolate a shot of the suspect vehicle, which was then emailed to all of the deputies in the area (so they) had a clear understanding of what type of vehicle they were looking for and actually located that vehicle," Martinez said.
Deputies found four men inside the vehicle — the two men in black the homeowner saw, plus two others who they believed played the roles of driver and look-out. Martinez said items stolen from the car were in plain sight. One of the men was even wearing the homeowner's backpack when they were caught.
All of the stolen items were immediately returned to the homeowner, he said. They also were able to return items burglarized from other cars nearby to their owners.
Martinez said the people who had their cars broken into were all living in single-family homes.
