(KSL News) Charges may be filed against three missionaries for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints over the destruction of a Catholic shrine.

Last week members of the Sangre de Christo Roman Catholic Church in Pueblo, Colo., found photos posted online of missionaries allegedly vandalizing the Shrine of the Mexican Martyrs back in 2006.
One depicts a missionary who appears to be preaching from the Book of Mormon at the altar of the shrine. Another shows a missionary holding the head of a statue of one of the saints, appearing as if he'd broken it off.
The three missionaries, from California, Idaho and Nevada, could face up to six charges, including felonies for criminal mischief and conspiracy. Missionary officials, meanwhile, say the Church would discipline the men.
