Idaho investigators find 'persons of interest' in triple homicide

MALAD, Idaho — The Oneida County Sheriff's Office has identified several persons of interest in a triple homicide case deputies have been investigating since last spring.

The bodies of Brent Christensen, Trent Christensen and Yavette Carter were discovered April 4 inside a home located on a remote property near Holbrook, Idaho.

While the sheriff's office didn't release any names, n a prepared statement Sunday the office said, "Several people in this case have been interviewed. Some of these people are currently incarcerated for various offenses in surrounding states."

Investigators also said some of the individuals they are looking at reside in Utah and California.

The sheriff's office is asking anybody who might have information about the crime to call 208-766-2251, or send a text to 208-815-0120.
