(KSL News) -- Police and state troopers nabbed a suspected drug dealer in a high speed chase tonight on I-15.
The chase ended at 5300 South. Taylorsville and Midvale narcotics officers were talking with the suspect and two women inside a truck. The woman driving got out, the man slipped into the driver's seat and sped off.
Sgt. Rosie Rivera, Taylorsvile Police Dept.: "While he was involved in the pursuit though, he was throwing drugs out the window as the officers were chasing him down the freeway."
Police recovered methamphetamine on I-15. Officers say the woman who was in the truck during the chase is a witness. They arrested the man.
