[CG :2 Line\Chad Hess\Bonus Swan]

We kick it off with 8 year old Tyler Hess. He and his dad had a great time at the Bear River Bird Refuge a couple weeks ago. Dad says, it was great spending some time outdoors with his son, the swan was just a bonus.

[CG :2 Line\Devvon Hines\"A Day of Firsts"]

Devvon Hines and her boyfriend Dustin had a day of firsts out in the marsh. They set out with their 6 month old lab Gaby to see if they could get Devvon her first duck. Finally a single gadwall came to their spread, Devvon gave it a go and the duck went down on her first shot. Young Gaby retrieved it like a pro, they ended the day with five ducks and two geese, Dustin even shot his first banded goose. A day this couple will never forget.

[CG :2 Line\Dustin Harrow\Starting young]

Dustin took his 2 year old son Dexter duck hunting for the first time this year. The boy had a blast, even though it turned into a down pour. Dexter made sure to carry the ducks and his toy gun everywhere they went.

[CG :2 Line\Sara Kerr\"Mud in the blood."]

Even though 4 year old Jamison is to young to hunt himself, he got to tag along on the youth duck hunt. He got to ride in an airboat, watch Chloe the dog retrieve ducks and here he's holding one of the many ducks bagged that day. Sara says kid's are "Never to young to get a little mud in the blood"!

[CG :2 Line\Brett Hill\pair of wood ducks]

Brett says his son Dillion is his "lucky Duck!" They went out for a jump shoot and ol' Dillon ended up bagging this nice drake and hen woodduck. A rare feat in Utah, and one proud dad.

[CG :2 Line\Norm Jones\Winner!]

but our winner tonight was after fish, not fowl. Back in October Norm and his son Lance decided to head down to Yuba Reservoir to target some toothy northern pike. They landed a couple that they kept for dinner but it was this great shot they'll remember most. After launching the boat Lance took a shot of his dad coming back to get him as the sun rose through the mist. Norm says it's moments like this that make him love spending time in the outdoors with his son. A great shot that has just won you two boys our great prize, you can cook up some pike fillets on, as you two just won...our snapshot of the week.
