SALT LAKE CITY — Salt Lake City police released photos Thursday of a group of people they believe were involved with several fraudulent checks.

Police are asking for help with identifying the people in the pictures. The individuals used the identities of people who had their property stolen in previous crimes to commit the check fraud, police said.

The checks were passed on Oct. 16, 29 and Nov. 1, investigators said.

Anyone with relevant information can contact the Salt Lake Police Department by calling 801-799-3000 or texting TIPSLCPD plus information to 274637.
