(KSL News) -- A high speed chase this morning through the west side of the Salt Lake Valley.
A West Valley City Police Officer noticed the car was stolen. He followed until backup arrived, and then attempted to pull the car over. That's when the driver took off.
Speeds reached up to 90 miles per hour. The chase went on for quite some time until an officer finally rammed the vehicle and spun it to a stop.
Three people were inside and police say they were less than cooperative.
Sgt. John Pearce, West Valley City Police Dept.: "The rear passenger was less than cooperative, so we are not entirely sure what his involvement was. The driver has actually taken full responsibility, saying he stole the vehicle."
Two juveniles were taken into custody; the third man in the car was released.
