(KSL News) -- In southern Utah near the town of Hatch, a 22-month old boy fell into the Sevier River and drowned.
The boy's family is from Hatch, they were visiting relatives. The boy's three-year-old sister saw the toddler fall in and watched him float down the swollen Sevier.
Volunteers from the town of Hatch spent the evening combing the river banks. A dive team from Washington County and rescue crews from Garfield and Kane Counties were also involved in the search for the little boy.
