Chris Kaye Reporting The senate has voted in favor of making English the national language of the United States. Will making English the country's national language help with the immigration issue? Centro Civico Mexicano's John Renteria says the bill further divides the country.
"Whats next? You know is it going to be you gotta be from a European country, to be one hundred percent American," he says.
He also says he doesn't think the US needs to go as far Canada, which has two official languages, but he says having a bilingual country makes things more convenient.
