A temptingly tousled Lindsay Lohan does her best "La Liz" imitation, gazing into the camera to conjure up a youthful image of the screen legend circa 1960 as part of a stunning new photo spread.

The sultry-looking young star - photographed by top designer-turned-lensman Karl Lagerfeld for the June issue of Interview magazine - says Elizabeth Taylor and Marilyn Monroe were two actresses who never tried to be perfect, and neither should she.

"It's not interesting to be perfect. You have to do stupid things," says Lohan, who's been criticized for everything from too much partying to suspected eating disorders.

The 19-year-old star of "Herbie: Fully Loaded" and "Mean Girls" is also photographed for the interview as a modern-day Clara Bow, the sexy silent-film actress who was the original "It" girl.

Lohan, whose latest flick is "Just My Luck," gripes that, sure, she likes to go out.

But "going out for me is about seeing my friends . . . Being seen is just something that comes along with it," she says.

"It has nothing to do with why I'm in the industry. Sure, you can cut the line at the clubs," she tells the mag, "but at the end of the day, cutting the line at Bungalow 8 is not what's going to make me feel good."
