HURRICANE, Utah (AP) -- A 5-year-old boy died after falling from a cliff near Hurricane.
The parents of Samuel Lynn Cox noticed he was missing around noon yesterday and sent his older brother to look for him. His brother discovered the body of the boy, who had apparently wandered away from his home and fallen about 50 feet from a rocky ledge.
The incident is still under investigation, but police believe it was an accident. They are urging residents in rocky areas to be aware of nearby dangers.
