MURRAY — Unified police are searching for three people who fled after their pickup truck crashed into a four-plex.
The crash happened near 5600 South and 1300 East. Police said an officer tried to pull over the truck around 11 p.m. for not having a license plate.
The truck fled at a high rate of speed and the officer followed but eventually terminated the chase due to safety reasons.
About five minutes later, another officer found the truck crashed into a four-plex. One person was still inside the truck and was taken into custody. Three others, including the driver, fled on foot.
Police said they know who the driver is.
The four-plex was vacant and no one was injured.
