(KSL News) -- A house fire this afternoon had fire crews on alert.

The fire started in the garage of a house located at about 13600 S. 2200 W. It appeared to be spreading quickly, so crews called in a second alarm.

There were no injuries. It took crews just about 15 minutes to knock it down.

A car was in the garage at the time and a boat on the side of the house was also burnt. Damage is expected at about $25,000.
