NEW YORK CITY — There are a lot of names we recognize from the 2013 MLB All-Star Game like Bryce Harper, Mariano Rivera and Mike Trout. One name that may not be quite as familiar is Mets pitcher Matt Harvey.

Harvey has been the Mets ace this year, but he's not quite as recognizable as you may think.

TV host Jimmy Fallon sent Harvey out into the streets of New York to ask baseball fans questions about Matt Harvey. Everyone seemed to have heard of the Mets pitcher, but recognizing him was another story.

Thankfully Harvey has a great sense of humor and these New Yorkers had some priceless reactions.

Extreme drumming

Did you know extreme drumming was a sport? Neither did I, but man is it awesome.

Drummer Tom Gossert set a new world record as the fastest drummer in the world.

Gossert had one minute to get as many drum strokes in as possible. He set the new record with 1,208 strokes in 60 seconds, which beat the previous record of 1,203 set by Mike Mangini in 2003.

Pros take a crack at Gilmore

This video reminds us all of two things. First: pro golfers have pretty good senses of humor. Second: Adam Sandler use to make films we actually like.

Some of golf's best players like Phil Mickelson, Padraig Harrington and Paul Lawrie teamed up and gave their best Happy Gilmore imitations.

The players take the famous jump swing approach and the results are actually pretty surprising. While Mickelson's attempt failed miserably, he was using a right-handed club; Harrington managed to crush the ball 328 yards.

Maybe Happy had something there.
