Chris Kay Reporting A two-year old found face down in Farmington Creek two weeks ago is at home.
Two year old Jaxon Miera nearly drowned in the creek on April 27th. He was rushed to Primary Children's Medical Center. Today his family checked him out of the hospital and loaded him into the car.
Jaxon's parents say they're still awaiting the results of a few tests, but they think he's okay.
Brooke Miera, Jaxon's Mother: "As far as we're concerned, I don't really need to know. He's making huge steps every day still. It was scary for the first couple of days, but he's really come out of it."
Doctors originally feared he'd have head injuries, but so far Jaxon's parents say he's only suffered some whiplash. Jaxon's mom says it's a miracle.
Brooke Miera: "It's more than a miracle. I mean physically, medically, he was not supposed to make it. And it's nothing short of a miracle. Every day, miraculous things. God is with this family."
The family says Jaxon will now begin outpatient therapy.
