(KSL News) A KSL 5 Eyewitness News investigation into gambling has led to criminal charges against the Mouse Pad Internet Café.

On Jan. 17, Salt Lake County sheriff's deputies raided the Mouse Pad Internet Café on 749 E. 3300 South in Millcreek.

Today, prosecutors charged owner William C. Homan with one count of gambling promotion and four counts of possessing a gambling device.

Based on a tip, KSL took a hidden camera inside the Mouse Pad in November. What we caught on tape prompted Salt Lake County Sheriff's deputies to go in undercover.

They found exactly what we did, customers playing games, winning and losing but never going online.

Homan's first court date is on April first.
