SEATTLE — A photographer who captured the moment of a couple's mountaintop engagement was able to give them images of the secluded event with help from the world.
Earlier this month, Mel Reyes and Jordie Egbert hiked to the top of Rattlesnake Ridge, southeast of Seattle, where he proposed to be married. Little did they know, while he was on one knee, a photographer noticed the event and snapped a picture.
Geoff Parker and his wife were hiking the trail for their anniversary, and were across a valley from the ridge Reyes and Egbert were atop.
"My wife called to me from behind and said, 'Hey Geoff, look over there,' " Parker told KING5.
Upon his return home, Parker set out to find the happy couple. He posted the photo Sunday to Instagram and Twitter, where KING5 picked it up.
Do you know this couple?I don't, but think they might want this photo of his proposal. It looked like she said yes! twitter.com/geoffpress/sta…

"On the off chance you know this couple, let them know and I would be happy to send them a couple photos, including her reaction," Parker wrote on Instagram.
Egbert's sister noticed the photo on KING5's Facebook page, and tagged her little sister. Five minutes later, Egbert joined the conversation.
The photographer presented the newly engaged couple with the picture just a little while after.
"I don't have that with my wife," Parker said. "It was a special moment, it was sweet."
And it seems Parker's feeling are shared by the bride-to-be.
"So glad others enjoyed my best day ever too," Egbert wrote. "Love this picture so much."
Reyes and Egbert plan to marry in October.
Last August, a couple in Austin, Tex. became an Internet sensation after photographer Patrick Lu snapped a picture of their evening proposal. The couple left before he could approach them, so he turned to the social media community of Reddit to locate them. After meeting Lu, the couple invited him to their wedding.
