(KSL News) The Hogle Zoo is marking a special milestone for one of its newest residents.
Little Acara was born on Mother's Day last year, but because of a C-section her mother did not recognize the baby as her own.
Zookeepers and volunteers stepped up to help around the clock while the two got used to each other. They spent their first night together on Valentines Day.
At her party today Acrara and mom got special fruit cakes and fun things to play with like PVC pipe.
