SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- Real Salt Lake owner Dave Checketts says he's going ahead with "Plan A" for a new soccer stadium in Sandy.

Now somebody has to come up with a "Plan B" to come up with the public money to pay for it.

Checketts says he still wants to build the stadium in Sandy. And he says the team still needs 45(m) million dollars in public money for things like power and sewers in the 145(m) million dollar project. He says Salt Lake County's decision NOT to give the team 35(m)million in hotel tax revenue is a setback, but isn't the end of the deal.

He's still hopefull he can work with the county, the city of Sandy and the state to make the project work.

Checketts spoke today before Real's home game against the Columbus Crew at Rice-Eccles Stadium. He says Real needs its own stadium to survive financially.

Checketts also says he has NO plans to move the team.
