(KSL News) -- A babysitter accused of killing a child under her care made her first appearance in court.
Daniella Ruiz of Provo faces murder charges in the death of five-month old Brandon Zamora. Ruiz was tending the baby back in January. She called 9-1-1 saying the child was hurt. He died a short time later.
Prosecutors say she injured the boy and caused his death.
Ruiz will be back in court next month.
