Nicole Gonzales reporting Phones at the Ogden Division of Public Ways and Parks have been ringing off the hook all morning long. The calls are from people still struggling with left-over snow from yesterday's storm.
The storm seemed to park itself over Ogden for most of the day. It's really amazing how much snow is still on the ground in Ogden, and residents are not too happy.

Tami Crosby said, "When you have to spend 20 minutes out there trying to get three houses down there to the main road, and it takes you 20 minutes to get unstuck, that's ridiculous. I mean, hello! Can they not just plow one little strip down the road?"
Ogden averaged 15 inches of snow yesterday and more than 20 inches on the benches. Snow was falling at the rate of about two inches per hour. City officials say they have 22 plows out today, and drivers are working 14-hour shifts.
The Ogden Division of Public Ways and Parks starts plowing streets with high priority, including main roads and those that lead to schools, hospitals and fire departments. Lastly, they get to small neighborhood streets. The department says it is working as hard as it can to relieve the problem.

Marcie Hodson, with Ogden Public Ways and Parks said, "What happened with yesterday's storm is that it started at midnight and then it didn't led up until the afternoon. And so, we were on main streets for that entire time and couldn't get to the side streets until after it quit snowing finally. So right now, we are doing clean-up on the side streets.
The storm has passed, but there's another storm on the way, though we are told it won't be as bad is this storm was.
