(KSL News) A bus accident near Monticello tonight has killed at least three people.
Details are still limited, but the Utah Highway Patrol tells us that a bus carrying about 80 passengers may have overturned on State Road 163 between Mexican Hat and Bluff. We are told that three people were killed and at least 20 others are injured.
Medical crews have been called in from New Mexico and Grand Junction and are still on the scene. We're told they called for a helicopter, but bad weather has prevented them from flying.
There's no word yet on what caused the accident, but UHP says roads in the area are icy.
