The small country of Sierra Leone is on the west coast of Africa. It was discovered by European explorers in 1462 and was under British rule for the next 500 years.

Although it's also one of the 10 top diamond-producing countries in the world, over 70-percent of the people live in poverty.

Still, the marvelous saints there are faithful. Elder Scott and Sister Gayle Randall can attest to that, as they've spent the last 18-months working among them in the Sierra Leone Freetown Mission.

Click the video to see their Skype interview as they discuss what the LDS Church is like in Sierra Leone, and what their biggest blessings have been in working with the members and the missionaries.
