(KSL News) -- Interstate 80 just reopened at Foothill Drive, where a semi trailer overturned.
The truck was hauling tree limbs trimmed at the University of Utah. It was headed to a recycling center in Utah County, when UHP says the driver took a turn too fast.
The trailer tipped, spilling hundreds of branches across the ramp. The truck stayed upright, so the driver was not hurt.
Crews shut down the road for about an hour while they cleaned up the branches. Troopers say they will cite the driver for speeding.
