(KSL News) -- Over the weekend a 12-year old Ogden boy claimed someone tried to kidnap him. Yesterday, he told investigators he made up the story.
Last month a 12-year-old boy and a 14-year-old girl made the same claim in Provo. Police have since determined the reports were false.
Midvale police are considering today's attempted abduction investigation to be real until other information proves otherwise.
