(KSL News) The Salt Lake City Library stumbled onto a hidden gem, or should we say gems.
Volunteers preparing for a book sale discovered a book, "Holy Siege" By Kenneth Briggs, and noticed it rattled. Inside was a homemade book safe. Pages were hollowed out to hold some antique jewelry.
The library is trying to return the jewelry to the rightful owner but doesn't know who it is, and recent efforts turned up nothing.
If you know anything about the jewelry, call the library at 524-8219.
