(KSL News) -- A man just released from the Utah State Prison is back behind bars again.

Salt Lake Police arrested Tavarrion Tate early this morning. Officers say he was driving a van that was reported stolen in Ogden.

He was released from the Utah State Prison Tuesday for burglary and theft.

Police say he is a suspect in a string of cash register robberies that began last Wednesday. He's now in the Salt Lake County Jail on robbery and auto theft charges.
