ST. GEORGE — A semitrailer crashed through the yard of a St. George home.
St. George police said the driver stopped at a stop sign at Bluff Street and 1130 North Circle around 8:30 p.m. Thursday and briefly closed his eyes.
The next thing the driver knew, he felt a bump and slammed on the brakes. His vehicle had crashed through a fence and landed in a front yard.
People on a nearby bike path had to run to avoid getting hit.
The family living in the home said the truck smashed through a playhouse but didn't actually hit the home. No one was injured.
Police questioned the driver but have not said whether they will arrest him.
