As 2007 comes to a close, we at KSL look forward with optimism at some of the things that are on the docket for 2008.

Nationally, of course, the nation will elect a new President. Who will it be and what direction will that person take the nation? Along with you, we're anxious to find out.

In Utah, our expectations are high for a couple of long-awaited transportation projects that will come on line. Legacy Highway and Frontrunner signal a milestone in Utah's response to continued accelerated growth.

In a few days the renovated and seismically upgraded State Capitol will reopen. We can all be proud of the people's house.

Down the street in the capital city, a new mayor will take charge at City Hall. The transition from Rocky to Ralph Becker will be interesting to watch.

Just a few of things KSL looks forward to in 2008! What a year it promises to be.
