The numbers come from the Census Bureau.

Nevada topped the list, with its population growing by nearly 3 percent to 2.6 million.

Arizona followed, and Utah came in third in percentage of population growth.

From July 2006 to July 2007, Utah added more than 65,000 new residents, bringing the state population to a total of 2,645,330.

The Census Bureau will release a more detailed, county-by-county population estimate in March.
