ST. GEORGE, Utah (AP) -- Police say a hotel guest randomly fired a dozen shots into a closet and windows at the Comfort Suites in St. George.
Timothy Reynolds, 52, was arrested early Christmas morning on several felony charges.
The Tumwater, Wash., man was treated at a hospital for cuts from climbing through a shattered window, then booked in jail.
Reynolds' motive wasn't clear, and he didn't injure anybody else, but among charges against him was for cocaine possession.
Police Lt. David Moss said Reynolds caused thousands of dollars in damage to the hotel. A night manager called 911 shortly after 4 a.m.
