SALT LAKE CITY — Heavy rescue crews helped a man to safety after he suffered a seizure and got stuck on construction scaffolding Friday.
At 7:52 a.m. Friday, the Salt Lake City Fire Department responded to a report of a 37-year-old male construction worker suffering a seizure. Upon arrival, they found the man conscious but stranded on scaffolding near the home under construction.
A heavy rescue team was called to the scene, SLCFD said, and they were able to use ropes to lower the man in a litter from the scaffolding.
Firefighters then placed the litter atop a wheel to move the man down the brush-covered hillside safely. The man was then moved to an ambulance and taken to a local hospital.
