(KSL News) Utah attorney Keith Barton is offering to pay for cab rides for people who don't have designated drivers this holiday season.

Today through January 1st, anyone who's been drinking and can't afford a cab can call City Cab Company for a ride. Their number is 363-5550.

Barton will foot the bill, no strings attached. Last year, his efforts kept more than 200 drunk drivers off the road.

Barton says his offer is worth it if he can prevent even one accident.
