Lance Bandley ReportingHundreds of Utah teens will gather in Salt Lake tomorrow for a prom they say is the only one that accepts their alternative lifestyle.
Students all over the state, ages 13 to 20, will attend Queer Prom tomorrow night.
"Coming together and having a great prom without having to worry about their same sex dates at a regular prom."
Brenden Olsen has attended each one since it started a few years ago.
"There are a lot of differences. We have a lot of people come in t-shirts and jeans instead of all the formal wear."
Organizers say it's been growing by 100 students each year and expect around 450 students to show up tomorrow night.
"We have a lot of support from youth and a lot of people would rather go to this prom instead of the school prom because they feel a lot more safe."
