Paul Nelson ReportingWalk-outs and marches are planned for this Monday and some students could miss class if they take part. But some schools are trying to keep that from happening.
Nearly 600 students from about a dozen Utah, Juab and Sanpete counties came down to Provo High School. Organizers say this big assembly is designed to convince them not to walk out of school Monday.
"I think a lot of them just wanted just to head out, but they weren't really informed."
Provo Assistant Principal Jose Enriquez says protests over immigration reform should be fine, but there are guidelines students should follow.
"Don't ever boycott education. Don't ever not come to school."

"I'm going to school."
"I'm not sure. I have to see if I have a test."
