(KSL News) A hitchhiker was hit and killed by a semi truck this morning.
The Utah Highway Patrol says the 44-year-old man was actually in the lane of traffic when the semi was pulling into the Port of Entry on I-80 near Wendover.
The semi driver said he didn't see the man.
UHP said other drivers reported having to swerve to miss the man before the semi eventually hit him.
