ST. GEORGE, Utah (AP) -- The only remaining defendant in the slaying of Trisha Stubbs has been extradited from Las Vegas and booked into Washington County's Purgatory Correctional Facility.

Jack Daniel Brown, 26, who is charged with capital homicide, was extradited Thursday and booked into Purgatory on $1 million cash-only bail.

Two others charged in the Jan. 7 shooting death of the 20-year-old St. George woman accepted plea bargains and agreed to testify against Brown.

Tina Eileen Roberts, 34, of Hurricane and Kyle Sheldon Jensen, 20, of Ivins pleaded guilty on March 29 to aggravated kidnapping and are to be sentenced on May 10 at 10 a.m.

Washington County Attorney Brock Belnap said he has not decided whether to seek the death penalty should Brown be convicted.

"Things can continue to unfold as this is an ongoing investigation," Belnap said. A preliminary hearing has not yet been scheduled for Brown.
