(KSL News) -- A Davis County sheriff's deputy dodged a deer and hit another car this afternoon.
The deputy was driving northbound on Highway 89 in Fruit Heights when a deer jumped out in front of him. He saw nothing in his rear-view mirror and swerved to miss the deer.
A woman was driving in his blind spot and the deputy's car hit her car.
She complained of neck pain and was taken to a hospital. The deputy wasn't hurt. The deer was killed.
