(KSL News) The Utah Department of Transportation is gearing up for another major road construction project. This time it's on Riverdale Road.
UDOT has set aside $38 million for the two-year project, which will reconstruct the road from I-84 to Chime View Drive.

This 3.7-mile stretch of road is one of the most congested non-freeway corridors in Utah, carrying 47,000 vehicles a day. Construction is set to start Jan. 2.
