(KSL News) Kids playing with matches caused a fire at a West Jordan home overnight.
The house is located near 7000 South and 3400 West.
According to firefighters, the kids set a couch in the basement of the home on fire and then ran upstairs to tell their parents what they'd done.
Everyone inside the home was able to get out safely, and most of the damage was contained to the basement. However, there is smoke damage throughout the house.
