(KSL News) KSL Channel 5 and Ken Garff teamed up to bring the "Road to Success" program to kids at Muir Elementary School in Bountiful this morning.

The kids attended an assembly where they were able to learn about the writing process from a real author. Then they received their challenge: to read at least 100 minutes a week.

Kids who complete the challenge will be able to put their names in a drawing for prizes.

In all, 50 Utah schools are participating in the program.
