(KSL News) A man accused of shooting and killing his ex-wife's boyfriend left his children waiting in the pickup while he allegedly committed the crime.

Mark Erickson faces a charge of aggravated murder for shooting and killing Timothy McEnaney in Beaver Sunday night.

Shortly after the shooting, a friend of Erickson's called police and told them he and Erickson's daughter and step-daughter were outside the restaurant at the time of the crime and that Erickson had parked in an area where they would not see them "fight with their mother."

Erickson is now being held in the Beaver County Jail on $2 million bond.
